Seven nominees announced for Mayo's 'most inspirational woman' award

THE seven nominees have been announced for Mayo's Most Inspirational Woman of the Year Award.

They are Marian Nevin, Claremorris, Noelene Haylett, Kilmeena, Martina Tuffy, Belcarra, Olive O Donnell, Ballina, Jutta Kirkham, Castlebar, Maureen Healy, Ballycastle, and Lavinia Slater Gilmartin, Ballina.

The recipient will be announced at the annual Nollaig na Mban event in the Ballina Manor Hotel on January 6 with MEP Marian Harkin presenting the award.
