RTE 2FM presenter launches Saddle Up for Epilepsy Cycle

RICK O'Shea of RTÉ 2FM last night officially launched the third annual national charity cycle in aid of Epilepsy Ireland.

Known as Saddle Up for Epilepsy, the event takes place from Breaffy Arena, Castlebar, on Saturday. February 25.

Participants can choose between 45km, 70km and 123km scenic routes through the environs of north Mayo.

At the launch at Breaffy House Resort, Rick O'Shea said the cause was a very worthy one and it was tremendous to see the event going from strength to strength.

He praised the founder of the event, Brenda Quigg, for her outstanding work and paid tribute to the generous sponsors and loyal participants.
