Mayo home for Gogglebox debut

FIVE new homes have been confirmed for TV3’s smash hit show, Gogglebox Ireland.

The new series started to air last night (Wednesday) on TV3 for another season of hilarious commentary from families and friends from all over Ireland.

The five new homes will be revealed over the next few weeks, so we're going to have to be patient as to who is appearing from Mayo.

The new households were selected after an exhaustive search that kicked off with over 3,000 applications.

The new homes hail from Cork, Portlaoise, Clare, Mayo and Wicklow.

Representing a great geographical and social mix, our new Goggleboxers will bring us even more unique insights into the week's telly along with many of our original cast - they let us into their homes, switch on their kettles and pick up their remote controls.
