Gardaí keep 'open mind' on separate house fires
GARDAÍ are investigating two fire outbreaks – some 25 miles apart – on Friday night last.
One was at Gurteen, Co. Sligo, the other was in the townland of Cullane, near Swinford.
Some damage was caused to two houses. Both were unoccupied at the time.
Gardai believe the two outbreaks may be connected.
A spokesman at Ballymote garda station said today (Wednesday) gardai are keeping an open mind on the incidents.
