Passing of affable Castlebar personality

THE death has taken place of Mary Molloy (née Miliffe), Watersville, Pontoon Road, Castlebar, and formerly of Ballaghaderreen.

News of her passing has evoked a tremendous sense of sorrow and loss in the county town where she was held in very high regard.

A courteous and affable personality, she was a popular member of Castlebar Golf Club for many years.

Deepest sympathy is extended to her husband Dom, son David, daughters Derval and Judy, grandchildren Nicola, Dominic, Juliet, Lucy and Alex, son-in-law Paul and Colin, daughter-in-law Kathy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, neices, relatives and friends.

Her remains will be reposing in the Coady Funeral Home tomorrow (Thursday) from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to her residence.

Removal from her residence takes place on Friday morning at 10 a.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock.

Burial takes place afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
