Motorist injured in accident at The Neale

A MOTORIST was taken to Mayo University Hospital last evening following a collision between her car and a horsebox transporter at Kildun, The Neale.

The impact occurred around 7.30 p.m.

The driver of the second vehicle, a male, was uninjured.

Meanwhile, just after 6 a.m. today (Thursday), a car crashed into a fallen tree at Palmerstown, Killala.

The impact occurred at the height of Storm Doris.

It is understood the driver of the car did not require hospitalisation.
