STORM UPDATE: Many Mayo homes may to be without an ESB supply all day
ESB Networks has confirmed that some districts of Mayo may be without power all day and even longer in the aftermath of Storm Doris.
The west and north west bore the brunt of the storm from a power outage viewpoint.
Customers without power can check if their outage is listed by logging in to the ESB's powercheck website or by contacting ESB Networks directly on 1850-372-999.
The ESB has urged everyone to be careful until power has been restored and to report any fallen lines to the company.
Mayo Fire Service hasn't been exceptionally busy time as a result of the storm, according to the Chief Fire Officer, Seamus Murphy.
There have been reports of three fallen trees in different parts of the county, Mr. Murphy explained.
Flights today into and out of Ireland West Airport Knock haven't been significantly affected by the earlier high winds.
No significant delays in either inbound or outbound flights have been reported by airport authorities.
