Main Mayo road closed due to two-vehicle crash

A SECTION of the main Castlebar to Belmullet road has been closed this morning due to a traffic accident.

Gardaí have confirmed that the R312 Bellacorrick to Castlebar route is blocked to traffic at Keenagh crossroads because of the two-vehicle crash.

Motorists are advised that diversions are being put in place.

It is understood emergency services are at the scene. No further details are available.
