Mayo non-domestic water billing transfers to Irish Water

BILLING in respect of non-domestic water has transferred from Mayo County Council to Irish Water with immediate effect, it has been confirmed.

Since January 2014 the council carried out the billing of non domestic water customers as an agent of Irish Water.

This function is now moving to Irish Water. All details of metered connection have now been transferred to Irish Water who will be contacting with customers in the coming weeks to clarify same.

Peter Duggan, director of finance, Mayo County Council, outlined “ I take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Mayo for being a valued customer and we look forward dealing with you in the delivery of our many and varied services into the future.”
