Man arrested after cannabis grow-house discovery in south Mayo

GARDAÍ have confirmed that a man has been arrested after cannabis plants worth an estimated €200,000 were seized at a grow-house in The Neale.

The man, who is understood to be in his 50s, is being detained at Castlebar Garda Station.

During the search, conducted by the Divisional Drugs Unit based in Castlebar, over 260 cannabis plants were discovered at the location.
