Mayo-born solicitor nominated for Irish Law Awards 2017
JASON O’Sullivan, solicitor and public affairs consultant at Galway law firm J.O.S Solicitors, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the AIB Law Awards 2017 in the prestigious category of Connacht/Ulster Provincial Solicitor of the Year.
Now in its sixth year, these awards aim to identify, honour and publicise outstanding achievements and recognise excellence in the Irish legal profession.
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday, May 12, at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. with RTÉ’s Miriam O’Callaghan hosting the illustrious event.
Jason is a proud Mayo native, hailing from Thomastown, Hollymount. He qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and practised for a number of years as an associate solicitor in Dublin, specialising in employment law, commercial and civil litigation. Combining his skill and passion for law and politics, Jason then paved out a successful career in public affairs and lobbying before setting up his own law practice, J.O.S Solicitors, in 2015.
Since establishing the firm, Jason has become a regular opinion writer on legal and political issues for the Irish Independent and TheJournal.ie, as well as making regular media contributions and guest appearances on national TV and radio.
