International distinction for Mayo photographer

WESTPORT camerman Micheál Quinn has just been named Photographer of the Month by Expressions International which runs an international portrait photography competition.

He has also been shortlisted, alongside another local photographer, Eric Grundy, for the top 50 entrants to their Expressions portrait competition for 2017.

This means both photographers will have their images exhibited throughout Longford town and several European galleries during the summer arts festival

Both Michael and Eric are former students of the Westport College of Further Education and Micheál is a past pupil of Rice College.
