Former FAI president is lynchpin of Mayo's new supporters' club

THE fledgling Mayo Branch of the Republic of Ireland Soccer Supporters Club (RISSC) has a powerful figure at the helm.

None other than Castlebar man Pat Quigley, former president of the FAI.

Pat is chairman of the new organisation. Paul Moran, a loyal supporter of the Republic wherever they play, is secretary while two financial 'wizards', Mick Dwyer and Frank Burke are joint treasurers.

Others to the forefront in the new organisation include Paul Flynn, John Scott, Paul Benson and Joe Feeney.
