All you need to know about the Mayo GAA Club championships this weekend
THERE is a full programme of Mayo GAA club championship games down for decision this weekend, the last phase of the qualifying rounds.
In both the Mayo senior and intermediate championships the third round games will be played which will decide the make up of the quarterfinals in each code.
The county two junior semi-finals will be played in Elverys MacHale Park on Sunday with Ballycastle v Kilmaine at 2 p.m. followed by Balla v Lahardane at 3.30 p.m.
The senior games down for decision are: Saturday, Charlestown v Garrymore in COE at 5 p.m., Davitts v Hollymount/Carramore in COE at 6.30 p.m., Breaffy v Ballaghaderreen in COE at 6.30 p.m., Knockmore v Westport in Elverys McHale Park at 5 p.m., Ballinrobe v Crossmolina in McHale Park at 6.30 p.m. and Ballina v Castlebar in Knockmore at 4 p.m.
On Sunday Kiltane meet Aghamore in Ballina at 3.30 p.m. and Ballintubber play Claremorris in Ballinrobe at 3.30 p.m.
Intermediate: Saturday: Shrule/Glencorrib v Islandeady in Islandeady at 4.30 p.m., and Swinford v Mayo Gaels in Kiltiamgh at 4.30 p.m.
Sunday: Ardnaree v Parke in Knockmore at 2 p.m., Belmullet v Ballyhaunis in Ballina at 2 p.m., Louisburgh v Burrishoole in Islandeady at 2 p.m., The Neale v Bonniconlon in COE at 2 p.m., Tourmakeady v Kiltimagh in Claremorris at 12.30 p.m., and Castlebar B v Moy Davitts in COE at 12.30 p.m.
Meanwhile the Mayo ladies intermediate and junior finals are down decision in Hollymount on Saturday. In the junior decider Claremorris meet St. Mary's at 1.30 p.m. followed by the intermediate final at 3.30 p.m. between Kilmoremoy and Louisburgh.
