Witnesses sought to Foxford collision between patrol car and vehicle

GARDAÍ are seeking witnesses to a collision between a garda patrol car and a private vehicle on the N26 Ballina to Foxford road, close to Foxford, on Wednesday evening.

The female driver of the private vehicle was brought to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Her injuries are not serious.

Nobody in the patrol car was injured.

Gardaí at Ballina (096-21422) are seeking witnesses.
