Westport shortlisted for Aer Lingus inflight video guide

WESTPORT has been shortlisted to be featured in the Aer Lingus inflight video guide to the Wild Atlantic Way.

As a multi award-winning town with Tidy Town achievements, award-winning restaurants, blue flag beaches, Westport is a must stop destination for national and international visitors.

Nominations are now open for leading attractions, activities, dining and entertainment experiences in the Westport area. Westport is one of the major tourist destinations on the Wild Atlantic Way and inflightflix.com is seeking the public's help to nominate the best visitor experiences in the Westport area.

Nominees will be shortlisted and invited to be featured in the Aer Lingus inflight video guide on over 3,500 seatback screens on 8,056 transatlantic flights in 2018 between Ireland and USA, showcasing leading things to do, places to go, stay, eat, drink.

With two million passengers expected in 2018 travelling between New York, Newark, Boston, Bradley, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Miami, Toronto and Ireland, the inflight video guide will encourage more passengers to visit or revisit destinations on the Wild Atlantic Way.
