Armstrong to run for Ireland in Slovakia

BALLINA A.C.'s Hugh Armstrong has taken home a bronze medal in the national finals in the senior men’s Cross Country in Abbotstown, Dublin.

The 23-year-old Knockmore man ran strongly for the entire 10km against a huge and talented field of athletes in cold and mucky conditions.

He now qualifies to be on the team representing Ireland in the European finals in Slovakia on Sunday, December 10.
