Ballina mourns passing of much-loved personality

THE death has occurred of Danny Greham, Hill Street, Ballina.

In his mid-80s, he was a popular and much-loved personality.

An electrician by trade, Danny was an outstanding vocalist and starred in many musicals in Ballina over the years.

He is survived by his sons Paul and Derek, daughter Maria, brothers Amby and Jackie, sisters Bernie, Bridie, Kathleen, Carmel, Connie and Lucy, grandchildren Seb, Cian, Diarmuid, Ruaidhrí and Oscar, daughters-in-law Jenny and Marie, son-in-law Owen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law Philis and Anne, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends, to whom sympathy is tendered

Danny was predeceased by his wife Doris, son Danny, parents Ambrose and Bridgie, and sister Christina.

His remains will be reposing at his residence on Monday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 until 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Muredach's Cathedral, arriving at 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass takes place on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue cemetery.
