N5 closed following accident

THE N5 near Ballaghaderreen is closed this lunchtime following a two-car collision.

The accident happened one kilometre on the Charlestown side of Ballaghaderreen on the main Westport-Dublin road.

There are no details of any injuries at this stage.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene.
