Wind and coastal flooding alert

MAYO County Council has announced a Level 2 Alert for wind and coastal flooding from 9 p.m. tonight (Saturday) to 12 noon on Sunday.

Members of the public are asked to exercise caution in going about their activities. Please be mindful of fallen trees and branches and possible flying debris, particularly when driving.

Extreme caution in coastal areas is advised.
