Passing of affable Castlebar man

THE death of John Joe Mullahy, 4, Kennedy Gardens, Castlebar, has cast a shadow of sadness over the county town.

An affable and respected personality, he is survived by his wife Ena, sons Sean, Ger and Kevin, daughters Dolores, Mary and Carmel, sons-in-law Michael (Kavanagh), Joe (Foy) and Pat (Tierney), daughters-in-law Cathy, Grace, Sabrina and Maria, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

His remains are reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Castlebar, this evening (Thursday) from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to his residence.

Removal on Friday morning from his residence takes place at 10 a.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
