Passing of former Castlebar Hat Factory staff member

THE death has taken place of Patrick Fallon (better known as Pa), Riverdale Court, Knockthomas, and formerly of McHale Road, Castlebar.

A kind and unassuming personality, news of his passing is deeply mourned in the county town.

The deceased spent much of his working life in the former Hat Factory in Castlebar.

He is survived by his wife Jane, brothers Sean and Mickey, sisters May, Breege and Joan, extended family, relatives and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

His remains will be reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. followed by private removal to his home.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary on Saturday morning at 10.40 for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial takes place afterwards in the New Cemetery.
