Supermarket recognised as best in class

BROGANS EUROSPAR in Belmullet is among an elite group of retailers from around the country who have been honoured with the prestigious Top of the Tree accolade at the annual EUROSPAR Retailer Awards celebration.

The Top of the Tree award is special recognition for outstanding retail practice across EUROSPAR’s six pillar retail strategy of value, freshness, rewards, choice, service and experience that has been unanimously endorsed by their retailers.

Retailers Annette and Aileen Howard said: “We are delighted to receive this accolade which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff.

“A Top of the Tree Award is not only a mark of pride for our store and staff, but more importantly it lets our customers know that we are leaders in the field. This accolade is a point of differentiation in what is a very competitive marketplace and we’re honoured to receive the recognition.”

The Mayo supermarket was also presented with a Customer First @ EUROSPAR award at the ceremony. Customer First @ EUROSPAR is the retail operations standards programme that has been implemented across the EUROSPAR supermarket group.

Brogans has been serving the locality since 1998 and employs 45 staff locally.
