Ballintubber's Rachel Gibbons has eyes on Mayo Rose title
MAYO ROSE CONTESTANT NO. 6: RACHEL GIBBONS, BALLINTUBBER
RACHEL Gibbons is a 24-year-old accounts assistant living and working in Galway City.
Rachel works for the construction company, JJ Rhatigans, and sits her professional accounting exams in September and become a fully qualified accountant with the company.
Said Rachel: “I am a huge follower of GAA football. both county and my local club Ballintubber. I recently took part in a local fundraiser for my local football club called 'Queen of the Tubber'. I organised various events including a dance in Ballinrobe Racecourse and overall raised almost €10,000.
“I am a home bird and extremely family orientated. I am the youngest of four and have one nephew who is the apple of my eye. We are a very close family and love to go for family dinners and are regulars at my sponsors restaurant, Flannery's Bistro Ballinrobe.
“I am so thankful to Trevor and Marie for sponsoring me for the Mayo Rose Selection and I appreciate everyone's support for the competition. It has been an absolutely amazing experience i will never forget, and have made friends for life in the fellow Roses.”
