Mayo retains its 12 Blue Flag beaches

MAYO has retained its 12 Blue Flag beach awards for 2018, according to An Taisce.

They are Bertra, Carrowmore, Clare Island, Dooega, Elly Bay, Golden Strand, Keel, Keem, Mullaghroe, Mulranny, Silverstrand Dugort and Ross, Killala.

Seven Mayo beaches have also been presented with Green Coast Awards for 2018.

Tranaun on Inisturk is a first-time recipient of an award this year.
