Funeral arrangements for Mayo angler who died tragically

THE funeral arrangements have been announced for the Mayo man who drowned yesterday while fishing for salmon on the River Moy close to Foxford.

The remains of John Newcombe, 47 Moy View, Foxford, will be reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Foxford, tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7.30 p.m. to St. Michael’s Church, Foxford, arriving at 8 o’clock.

Funeral Mass takes place on Thursday at 12 noon with interment afterwards in Craggagh Cemetery.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their devastating loss.
