Mayo hotel is set to reopen for business this weekend

THE Ivy Tower Hotel in Castlebar, formerly the Welcome Inn Hotel, is reopening for business this weekend.

The premises has been closed due to fire damage caused by an outbreak in the kitchen area on February 22 last.

In a post on its Facebook page, the hotel reports: “We are back in action this weekend, fully booked for accommodation and our late bar is open this Saturday and Sunday night.

“We hope to see you over the bank holiday weekend.”
