Funeral arrangements for former TD

FORMER Mayo Fianna Fáil TD Seán Calleary will be laid to rest in Ballina on Thursday.

A member of Dáil Éireann from 1973 to 1992, Mr. Calleary's remains will be reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

The funeral will arrive to St. Muredach's Cathedral on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.30 p.m., with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.

Mr. Calleary, who represented the Mayo East constituency, is survived by his wife Doris, children John, Conall, Dara and Síofra, and extended family.
