DJ Tommy Elliott wins two more prestigious awards

LOCAL DJ Tommy Elliott has been named the Best Wedding DJ 2018 and the Wedding Entertainer of the Year 2018 in two different award ceremonies.

Leading Irish wedding website Mrs2Be.ie announced the winners of their Brides’ Choice Awards in an exciting virtual awards ceremony yesterday in an online event that was deemed a huge success by the Irish wedding community, and Tommy was named Best Wedding DJ.

This is the fifth year of the Mrs2Be Brides’ Choice Awards and they've been very well received by the Irish wedding industry. The awards are open to all venues and registered businesses who offer a wedding-related service to Irish-based couples regardless of whether or not they are customers of Mrs2Be. Judged by both real brides and grooms and independent judges with industry knowledge, the awards recognise excellence within the wedding industry.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s Wedding Journal Reader Awards 2018 took place on Sunday at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, bringing together the top wedding venues and suppliers within the bridal industry. That's where Tommy was named Wedding Entertainer of the Year.

These prestigious awards, now in their seventh year, give the readers of Wedding Journal magazine and visitors to Wedding Journal Online the opportunity to vote and recommend their favourite bridal supplier. They have grown to be a leading industry event and are renowned for being a celebration of the best of the wedding industry in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Tommy's latest awards bring to seven the number of national accolades he has now achieved: “I'm absolutely delighted with these,” he said. "It’s great to be recognised as the best within the wedding industry in Ireland, which has some top suppliers across the country.”
