SOMETIMES parents need a little bit more than divine inspiration.

A prayer from Fr. Richard Gibbons, P.P. of Knock Shrine, contained in the recently publish Knock Prayer Book, may be the answer to all your prayers.

Among the prayers featured by Fr. Gibbons is his own personal Serenity Prayer for Parents.

God grant me the serenity to accept the annoying things that my kids do, that I cannot change. The patience to endure the endless nagging that I will have to do to change the things I can. And just enough wine to know the difference!
