Fantastic win for Mayo girls

MAYO scored a massive win over Laois in this evening's All-Ireland Under 16 B ladies football final.

They simply blew the Leinster champions away on an evening when they displayed their undoubted class.

By half-time the game was over as a contest as the westerners were ahead by 8-5 to 0-2.

There was little let-up in the second half either as Mayo continued to pile on the scores, emerging victors by 11-14 to 1-5.

They lacked nothing in effort but there was simply no answer from Laois to the Mayo juggernaut as they lit up field at Duggan Park, Ballinasloe.
