File for DPP on cannabis find

GARDAÍ have seized suspected cannabis with a street value in the region of €25,000 in a raid on a private house in the Ballina area.

The swoop was carried out on Saturday by members of the Mayo Divisional Drugs Unit in a planned operation.

One person was detained in connection with the find, questioned and later released.

A file is to be prepared for the DPP.
