TD tables parliamentary questions over vacant Mayo IDA facility

Mayo TD Lisa Chambers has tabled a number of parliamentary questions regarding the IDA technology plant in Castlebar which has been lying vacant since its official opening last February.

She has asked the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, how many IDA visits have taken place to the advance factory on the Breaffy Road and in what months those visits took place.

Added Deputy Chambers: “I want her to outline what steps have been taken by her department to secure a tenant for facility. A lot of concern is being expressed locally."
