Date for Mitchels v Ballintubber replay is announced

THE Mayo County Board has fixed the date for the replay between holders Castlebar Mitchels and Ballintubber in the semi-final of the Mayo senior football championship.

It will take place at Elverys MacHale Park on Saturday evening next at 7 p.m.

Both sides are expected to be at full strength for the encounter after their thrilling 1-12 to 1-12 draw, after extra time, in Saturday's clash.

Breaffy have already booked their place in the decider after defeating Ballaghaderreen in their penultimate round clash by 1-13 to 1-10.
