Three local businesses shortlisted for Irish Auto Trade Awards

THREE businesses from Mayo have been shortlisted for this weekend’s (October 20) Irish Auto Trade Awards 2019 in Citywest Hotel, Dublin.

Now in their fifth year, the awards are a celebration of excellence in the Irish auto trade in Ireland, a sector that accounts for over 35,000 jobs.

Togher Tyres, Castlebar, are nominated for Tyre Retailer of the Year while Mayo Motor Parts Ltd., Westport, are hoping to triumph in the Motor Factor of the Year category. Molloy Commercials in Castlebar have been shortlisted for the LCV/HCV Independent Workshop of the Year award.

Candidates for the retail awards are subjected to phone and personal mystery shops as part of their adjudication, while manufacturers and distributors are shortlisted based on votes received by readers of Irish Auto Trade Journal and autotrade.ie.
