Brilliant Ballina Town complete super Mayo double

Ballina Town have underlined their status as the outstanding side in the Mayo Football League for the 2018 season.

They outclassed Castlebar Celtic in today's Connacht Gold Super Cup final at Solar 21 Park, Milebush, to add the title to the Super League crown they sealed a number of weeks ago.

Two first half goals by David O'Mahony put them in command against lack-lustre Celtic.

Town killed off the game as a contest with further goals in the second half by Jamie Cawley and substitute Benny Lavelle.
