Incident of vandalism in Ballina condemned

AN incident of vandalism in Ballina has been widely condemned.

It occurred at French Lane, off Pearse Street, leading into the military barracks.

Historical material put on display for the recent General Humbert celebrations in the town were damaged in an act of mindless destruction.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident are urged to contact the local garda station.
