Four Mayo GAA stars making steady recovery progress

FOUR members of the newly-selected 2019 Mayo senior football squad are making 'great progress' in their recovery from injury.

According to an update on Mayo GAA's social media platforms, Tom Parsons (knee), Cian Hanley (knee), Ryan O'Donoghue (ankle) and Fionn McDonagh (knee) are on course to returning to action following surgery.

The squad, assembled by new manager/coach James Horan, gathered for the first time last week with a session in Castlebar and one in Dublin for players bssed in the capital.

The panel includes players involved in senior, intermediate and junior clubs.
