Mayo exhibitors for Gifted craft and design fair
AWARD-WINNING designs inspired by the beauty of the west and the Mayo skies will be in the spotlight at Gifted - the Contemporary Craft and Design Fair.
With over 500 designers, makers and artisan food producers displaying original gifts, the traditional opening to the festive season in Dublin is set to attract over 45,000 people in five days at the RDS, from Wednesday to Sunday, December 5 to 9.
Foxford Woollen Mills continues to produce beautiful scarves, throws, knitwear and other textiles that have been its trademark for more than a century.
“Though we hold tightly to our tradition of distinctive quality, we also embrace change to suit modern tastes and styles,” said Joe Queenan, managing director of Foxford Woollen Mills.
“Our award-winning designer, Helen McAlinden, is inspired by the beauty of the west of Ireland and the skies of Mayo. She guides the look and feel of our Foxford lifestyle range, creating the perfect blend of homeware and our classic woollen designs.”
Other local exhibitors will include Ballinrobe interiors company Elephant, who will be showcasing their new living range of cushions and throws.
“Gifted is a celebration of Christmas giving and will feature the country’s largest collection of thoughtful gifts for your loved ones,” said organiser Patrick O’Sullivan.
“It is a unique opportunity to interact with the most creative people in Ireland and discover thousands of original products available only at Gifted.
“Our curated offering gives you the opportunity to secure once-off presents from a wide selection of contemporary Irish jewellery, fashion, accessories, ceramics, interiors, art, photography, and children’s gifts.”
