New financial services centre to open in Mayo
EBS Bank is opening a new financial services centre in Mayo
It will be located in a premises at Main Street in Castlebar formerly occupied by Halifax Bank, closed in 2010 by Bank of Scotland Ireland due to trading difficulties.
Renovation works are currently taking place on the interior of the property and it is expected to open shortly after Christmas and the existing EBS staff at its branch at Linenhall Street in Castlebar will transfer to the new premises.
EBS has branches nationwide, helping to deliver its range of savings, mortgage, investment, pension, daily banking and insurance products.
A spokesperson stated: “We strive to have a positive impact in the areas where our customers live and work, as evidenced through our corporate and social responsibility programme.
“EBS continues to deliver nationally and locally, helping Irish families buy their own homes and save for many of life's milestones such as children's education, a trip of a lifetime or simply a rainy day.”
