Passing of much-loved member of Castlebar community

The death has occurred at Mayo University Hospital of Kathleen Cleary (née Mannion), 102 McHale Road, Castlebar, and formerly of Cloonconnor, Claremorris.

Aged 69, Kathleen was a much loved member of the community and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her and in particular her friends and neighbours on McHale Road.

She is deeply mourned  by her husband Michael, sons Tom (Lucan Street, Castlebar), Michael (Rathbawn Avenue, Castlebar) and John (Australia), and daughter Virginia (McHale Road, Castlebar).

She was sister of Michael (Claremorris), Brian (England), Jane Fallon (Castlebar), Bridie (Claremorris), Josie Griffith (Kilconly, Tuam) and the late Jimmy, Margaret, Mary and Pauline.

Katheen is also survived by her daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.

Her remains are reposing at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, this evening (Tuesday) from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary. arriving at 8.30 p.m., via McHale Road.

Requiem Mass takes place on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
