Death of Castlebar man in London
THE death has taken place suddenly in London of Dominic Redmond, late of Balloor, Castlebar.
The deceased, who was aged 61 years, was a carpenter by trade and spent the past 30 years in the English capital.
His remains will arrive at Ireland West Airport on Friday afternoon and will repose at the Coady Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, from 6 to 7 p.m. that evening with removal afterwards to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
Requiem Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with interment afterwards in the Old Castlebar Cemetery.
He was predeceased by his parents Andy and Dot Redmond and his brothers Sean and Andy.
Mr. Redmond is survived by his daughter Regina Sanders (Galway), his son Neill (Castlebar), his sisters Mavourneen Gillespie, Patricia Morahan and Noreen Loughran (all Castlebar), his grandchildren, brothers-in-law Tom Gillespie, Lar Morahan and Michael Loughran, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends to whom deepest sympathy is extended.
