"We have been forced out on the picket line," says Mayo nurse
A MEMBER of the INMO in Ballina has asserted that ongoing nurses strike is 'government driven'.
Frances Cullen told The Connaught Telegraph that she and her colleagues were forced to take action due to 'terrible working conditions and the absence of pay parity'.
She explained many young nurses have been handed serious responsibilities but they are getting paid less than allied health care professionals.
"Its a situation that can no longer be tolerated and we will continue to strike until the government listens," she added.
