Death of Brickens man is deeply regretted in the community

THE death of Gerard (Ger) Fahey, Kilnock, Brickens, Claremorris, has evoked feelings of immense sorrow and loss in the community.

Ger, a popular and widely respected personality, is deeply regretted by his partner Rosemarie, daughter Marie and her mother Una, brothers Frank and Joe, uncle Monsignor Ger Fahey (California), sister-in-law Cathy, neighbours, relatives and his family's wide circle of friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

His remains will be reposing at Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris, on Friday evening from 6 o’clock with removal at 8 o’clock to St. Therese’s Church, Brickens.

Mass of the Resurrection takes place on Saturday at 1 o’clock with burial afterwards in Tulrahan Cemetery.
