Castlebar is a hive of Scòr activity today

CASTLEBAR is a hive of activity today.

It's because the town is hosting the Cream of the Crop National Scòr finals.

Hundreds of talented young singers, musicians, dancers and masters of other traditional entertainment fields have travelled from all over Ireland for the event and they have received a warm welcome.

The venues being used include the Royal Theatre and the De La Salle Hall at St. Gerald's College.

Congratulations to the Mayo Scòr committee for its professional organisation of the extravaganza.

Members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the various performances.
