Strong attraction between Mayo and Aisling!
Three Mayo football clubs are on a collision course with Aisling Annacotty FC.
By virtue of their penalty shootout heroics against Peake Villa on Sunday, Westport United welcome the Limerick club on March 10 for an FAI Junior Cup quarterfinal clash.
Two teams will be going the other way that same weekend, however, as Castlebar Celtic and Ballina Town were drawn away to Aisling Annacotty in the SFAI Skechers Cup at Under 13 and Under 12 level respectively.
Should they win those quarterfinals, Celtic will be away to the winners of the clash between Southend United (Waterford) v Douglas Hall (Cork), while for Ballina Town the reward would be an away semi-final against either Shamrock Rovers or Mallow United.
Westport United are also in the quarterfinals of the SFAI Under 13 Skechers Cup, in which they have a home draw against Leixlip United, with the winners having to travel to either Tramore AFC or Carrigaline United in the last four.
There are a few unclear permutations in the SFAI Skechers Under 14 Cup. Westport United's name is in the quarterfinal draw but they have to beat Kilcullen to get there. That game will be played next weekend. If they do win and reach the semi-finals, they will play one of St. Kevin's Boys, Shannon Town or Belvedere FC. Like Westport v Kilcullen, the St. Kevin's v Shannon last 16 game has yet to be played.
The SFAI Cup quarterfinals will be played over the weekend of March 9/10, with the last four games on the weekend of April 6/7.
Finally, in the FAI New Balance Youth Inter-League Cup, Mayo have been handed an away game against Waterford.
