Mayo town celebrates latest €500,000 Daily Million Plus win
Residents of Ballyhaunis have today been urged to check their lottery tickets following a top prize win of €500,000 in today's 2 p.m. Daily Million draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold today at Caulfield’s store on Main Street in the centre of the town.
DailyMillion draws take place at both 2 p.m. and 9 p.m., seven days a week, for just €1 per play.
It has been an incredible start to the year for Daily Million players with a whopping eight top prize winners of the Daily Million and Plus games in 2019.
This latest €500,000 win in Ballyhaunis comes just days after a Roscommon player scooped the same prize in the Daily Million Plus draw on Friday, March 8.
Seamus Caulfield who is the owner of Caulfield’s store in Ballyhaunis has spoken of his sheer delight at the big Daily Million win in his store.
“It’s absolutely unbelievable, we are just thrilled for one of our very lucky customers who is a half a million euro richer this evening. We’re fast becoming a lucky National Lottery store in our own right too.
“Despite being in business for over 100 years, we only started selling National Lottery games in the past three years and already we have had a €50,000 scratch card winner and a number of Winning Streak TV gameshow contestants as well as other top prizes,” he said.
The winning numbers for the Daily Million Plus top prize were: 05, 07, 16, 27, 35, 37 and the Bonus: 28
The National Lottery asks all players to check their tickets. If you’re the lucky ticketholder, sign the back of the ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.
