Funeral of Mayo road traffic accident

THE funeral arrangements have been announced of the victim of a fatal traffic accident in Mayo last Friday.

Brian Bacon, Cloughvolley, Aghamore, Ballyhaunis, and formerly of St. Helen's, Liverpool, died following a three-vehicle collision on the N5 at Carracanda, Swinford, on March 15.

He is survived by his partner Rose, family, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

His remains will by removed from Kilcoyne's Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Thursday at 11.30 a.m. to Shannon Crematorium for service at 2.30 p.m.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

The driver of one of the other vehicles involved in the crash is recovering from minor injuries.
