Passing of former Castlebar Bacon Factory staff member
THE death has taken place of Paddy (Pat) Cunningham, Rathbawn Road, Castlebar.
A good-natured and respected personality, he was predeceased by his wife Maura, daughter Dolores, and brothers Sean and Tony.
A former member of the staff of the old Bacon Factory in Castlebar, the deceased was a native of Belcarra.
Paddy is very deeply regretted by his daughters Finola Kelly (Dublin), Ursula McTigue (Newport Road, Castlebar) and Orla (Castlebar), son Padraic (Ballyglass, Claremorris), brothers Gerry (Belcarra), Mick (Belcarra), and Bishop Jim (Newcastle), sisters Sr. Tess (Dublin), Sr. Helen (Dublin), Mary Prendergast (Ballivor, Co. Meath) and Ann Burns (Clarinbridge, Co. Galway), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law Mick and Michael, daughter-in-law Edel, Orla's partner Tim, grandchildren Sean, Lauren and Kayleigh, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends., to whom sympathy is tendered.
His remains will be reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, on Saturday evening from 7 p.m. with removal at 9 p.m. to St. Anne's Church, Belcarra.
Funeral Mass takes place on Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
