Horan finalises his Mayo championship squad ahead of New York trip
AS Mayo get ready for their Connaught senior football championship opener against New York in the Big Apple next Sunday at 2.15 p.m. (7.15 p.m. Irish time), the waiting is over to see who has made the panel for the championship.
There a 35 players on the panel plus Charlestown midfielder Tom Parsons, who is recovering from the long term injury he suffered against Galway in the 2018 Connaught championship.
However, there is the possibility that after the New York game one other player, Ballina's Mikey Murray, could be added to the squad.
Murray has been showing up very well in training and is highly regarded as an upcoming fine young midfielder.
The Mayo championship panel is as follows:
